Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion has been performed for years in Europe and has rapidly become one of the most popular cosmetic procedures here in the states. At Cosmetic Laser Centers^SM we use Microdermabrasion as an adjunct to our other treatments. Patients often get microdermabrasion treatments monthly to keep a healthy, beautiful glow.

Microdermabrasion is a non invasive exfoliating treatment which removes the outermost layer of your skin. This upper most layer, known as the stratum corneum, is comprised of dead skin cells that are being “flaked” off by your body. Microdermabrasion helps this “sheading of skin cells” by removing this layer and allowing for new, fresh skin cells to come to the surface.  Microdermabrasion helps to unclog pores, increases circulation, soften the skins rough appearance, and improve a dull complexion.
